Snoop Dogg received a threat demanding an apology before a concert earlier this week.
The gang called Oklahoma Crips were apparently still upset about an interview Snoop Dogg gave in 2009 with DJ Green Lantern. In the interview, the rapper talked about gang culture outside of L.A. and how it could have serious effects on those in the gangs.
He said: “Gang life has dramatically changed in L.A. In California we are playing by a different set of rules and regulations, so all these cats out here you see throwing up their flag and reppin' need to be careful because that could end up real bad for them.”
The Crips took this as a warning so decided to put together a video statement to Snoop Dogg - ordering him to "reach out" in order to mend the situation.
A Crip said: “Snoop I'm giving you a temporary pass. You need to give me a call, your concert is tomorrow and if you don't call me, I can't be held responsible.”
According to HipHopWired.com - Snoop's concert went ahead without any problems or disturbances. I'm pretty doubtful the rapper 'reached out'...
