Soulja Boy and the S.O.D. Money Gang brand have had a lawsuit filed against them for copyright claims to a phrase which is used on their line of clothing, according to HipHopWired.com.

The rapper, who recently celebrated his 20th birthday, is being sued by designer Clement Brown Jr.

The designer claims that Soulja Boy et. al used his slogan which already features on his t-shirts.

Brown says that the copyrighted phrase has been stolen by them for the use in the S.O.D. 'code of honor'.

The designer's slogan is: “Grind…hustle hard…double up…flip…stack…get your weight up…save…cop…invest…re-cop…reinvest….buy property…network…build credit…stay determined…”

And, Soulja Boy's code of honour is: "Grind..Hustle..Double Up..Flip..Stack..Get Yo Weight Up..Save..Shop..Invest..Recoup. Own Your Own Business..Buy Property..Network..Build Credit..Stay Determined..Stay Focused...Stay Dedicated..Never Lie To your Higher Authority..Have Goals..Always Remember Money First…Gang Color Yellow and Green…Never Snitch"

Brown is suing for an undisclosed amount in damages.
