Kelly Rowland has revealed that she has never taken drugs because she likes to "have control" over herself.

The former Destiny Child's star also revealed in an interview with Style magazine, that she feels uncomfortable around people who are under the influence of drugs.

The Commander star explained:

“Once, at Pacha (nightclub) in Ibiza, I looked into the crowd and thought, 'That's heavy'. Looking at those people, all completely spaced out, I felt worried for them”

“I'm not indulging. That is not how I run my business. I love the fact I have control over myself. It's important to always be a lady.”

Kelly also revealed how she has the repsonsibilty of setting a good example to young fans:

“People come up to me and say, 'My daughter looks up to you as a role model', and I take that seriously”.
