Halle Berry has opened up about her break up with ex boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

The actress who has a two year old daughter with the model, has said in an interview with Vogue that, relationship wise, the couple were “not a love connection”.

Halle said: “It's just that you realize you are not meant to go the distance with everybody...We were meant to bring this amazing little person into the world. And I think that's why we came together.

“I'm not done with love, but I refuse to settle. I am a hopeless romantic. And I won't stop till I get it right.”

Things might have not worked out romantically for the pair but Halle insists that they still friends and are committed to be good parents.

“We are a family until we are not here any more.”
