Tila Tequila was spotted out shopping yesterday in Los Angeles sporting a bandage after being pelted with bottles and rubbish at the annual Gathering of Juggalos festival earlier this week.

Apparently the reality star who is trying to forge a career in music was warned before she took to the stage but insisted on doing-so anyway - which resulted in her getting hurt.

Organisers said in a statement that even though she had been warned of danger, Tequila “seemed to mock and further antagonize the crowd” by exposing her boobs.

The organisers along with Insane Clown Posse said that the violence was "extremely unfortunate" in a written statement, but they also added that they were not to blame.

The statement said: “Ms. Tequila was made aware, in advance, of her unpopularity with many Juggalos at the Gathering, but she insisted on performing.

She was paid in advance and told she could keep the money if she decided not to perform and that “she could leave the stage the minute that she felt uncomfortable."
