Ne-Yo has been dogged by rumours about his sexuality since day one, but it seems the R&B singer is trying even harder to put these rumours to bed as he is taking every opportunity available to talk about women, despite his "friend" being pregnant with his child.

The 'Beautiful Monster' singer said that being a singer makes it easy for him to get with women and he admitted that if it wasn't for his music, women probably wouldn't pay him a lot of attention.

In an interview with More magazine, Ne-Yo said:"I was the worst at high school. If I liked a girl I'd be like, 'Oh, er, hey how you doing? I like your ears.' "I had this friend who was a genius at chatting up girls. He'd get them to come over and then say, 'Have you met my friend? He can sing.'

"I think that's why God gave me this voice - so I wouldn't have to talk to girls - I could just sing to them."

Ne-Yo also talked about his experiences with British girls and he said that they don't put up much of a resistance to his charms.

He said: "I can't really say because I haven't been with all the British girls, but the ones I've met have not taken much persuasion. But don't worry - that just means they're all very hospitable."
