Taio Cruz Tickets

Pop rockers McFly have expressed their initial concerns at singing in front of musician and producer Taio Cruz who is working on two tracks for the foursome's forthcoming album.

The 'Obviously' punk pop band said they felt intimidated showing off their vocal talents in front of Cruz whose vocal abilities far outdo their own.

Tom Fletcher, the bands lead vocalist and guitarist told Digital Spy: "Taio's amazing and he's got an amazing voice as well. When you're writing with him, you almost don't want to sing because his voice is so good!"

Adding that despite this, the band did enjoy the experience and that it was, overall, a big learning curve for them as a group saying: "We've never really written with other people like that, so it was a real learning experience for us .

"He's got a very different style musically to us, but he really got what we were trying to do. He just took our ideas to somewhere we'd never have been able to take them."
