Rihanna maybe sporting a new curly hairstyle, but the singer was left in pain at the weekend as she burned her head with a curling iron.

The 'Te Amo' singer also joked that it was because of her extra large forehead that she ended up hurting herself.

Rihanna posted a picture via Twitter of the burn mark on Sunday morning (29 August) and said: "New hair….new curling iron BURN……damn 5head always in the way."

RiRi has said that she has now taken over from her label and will be the only person allowed to tweet via her official page.

She has said: "So now that i finally took over my Twitter page no more corny label tweets......lol! whaaasssuupppp ppl!!!!!"
