Kim Kardashian has insisted that she's not a big drinker and that she has been chosen as the responsible sister in the family.

The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star said on The Tonight Show that she has managed to avoid some of the vices of celebrity status.

She said: "I've never been a drinker and I've never gotten into drugs [and] I think I have such a close family... My sisters do enough drinking to fill up the whole family!"

The 29-year-old also said: "I think from a young age my dad made it very clear that I was the responsible one and taught me how to drive when I was 14 in case my sister or one of her friends would be drinking. I always had permission to drive, or else I had to call him from the destination to the final place."

Kardashian continued: "So I always felt this sense of pride that he had in me as the responsible one, so I've always wanted to make him proud. And I hate the taste of alcohol!"

But Kim also added: "I did say that, at 30, I'm going to have a drink to lighten up because my sisters say I'm so boring. So I tried a White Russian a few months ago. It tastes like chocolate milk, and it's kind of amazing. Every once in a while when I'm 30!"
