Naomi Campbell has said that she isn't planning to have children because she has to live "one day at a time" because of her past addictions.

The supermodel, who recently gave evidence against the former Liberian president Charles Taylor in relation to a supposed gift of blood diamonds she had received in 1997, said that she wants things to happen "naturally" with her Russian billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin.

In an interview with Elle magazine, she said: "Whenever God decides it's right for me. I don't put pressure on myself. I let things happen how they should naturally. That's how I am today.

"I'm a recovering alcoholic and addict and I don't drink and I don't do drugs. I live my life one day at a time."

Campbell, 40, says that she's content with herself and that she's enjoying being a homemaker in the kitchen.

She said: "The kitchen's very important to me. Sometimes I cook for my man, for my cousins, for my friends. I'm happy the way I am right now."
