Kim Kardashian has revealed that she doesn't like hearing the sound of her voice and that she wasn't nervous when she had to sing at the Emmy Awards.

In an interview with Jay Leno on The Tonight Show, the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' talked about having to sing a verse in a song at the Emmys.

Kardashian said: "That was the first time [I sang in public]. "Thank God it was a quick line and it was a joke so even if I sounded awful it wouldn't matter because it was a joke!

But the reality star, despite being a novice revealed that she wasn't nervous.

The 29-year-old said: "Ironically, I wasn't. I thought I would be but I wasn't... I got all these tweets after saying, 'When is your album coming out? You sounded amazing!'"

When forced to watched a clip of her performance at the Emmys, Kardashian cringed, saying: "I don't like to listen to myself! I don't like to hear myself back, I don't like the sound of my voice!"
