Hip hop giants Eminem and Jay-Z co-headlined last night's huge concert in Detroits's Motor City's Comerica Park, staging the first of two shows in as many nights.

Fans were treated to suprise guests which included 50 Cent and the G-Unit as well as D12 and the might Dr. Dre.

He rapped to 'Still Dre' and Slim Shady teamed with Dre to remind fans why they are incredible - by hitting them with "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang."

After his sabbatical, Eminem has come back to a phenemonemal response from fans - and he knows it.

Apparently, the rapper screamed: "Got dammit, Detroit. Do I love you or what? Look what I brought out for you."

Even rookie Drake got the crowd pumped and expressed his gratitude for gracing the stage with the hip hop icons. He said: "I'm so honored to be here to tonight. This is history in the making. I want y'all to make some noise for the muthaf---in' legend that is Emimem."

One special guest obviously wasn't able to attend because he's currently locked up in Riker's, and that is Lil Wayne. But, Shady and Drake made sure they paid homage to the incarcerated rapper.

Em got the crowd singing along to his anthems - such as 'Stan', 'Cleaning Out My Closet', 'Sing For a Moment' and even dedicated one of his recent hits 'Not Afraid' to his fans and brought G-Unit, D12 and Trick Trick. He said: "I love you. This song is for you."

Two clocks counted down to Jay-Z's slot on the stage and the crowd were treated to tunes like "You Don't Know," "99 Problems" and "(Originator 99)." The only track that the pair of hip hop titans shared was when Jigga came out for 'Renegade'.

The 'Home and Home' tour continues tonight (3 September) in Detroit at Comerica Park and then will hit New York on 13 and 14 September at the Yankee Stadium.
