Michael Jackson's father Joe has been granted the right to argue his case so that he can be involved in making decisions regarding the late King of Pop's multi-million dollar estate by an appeals court.

Joe Jackson and his lawyers will be making their case on 6th October at the Second District Court of Appeal.

Jackson challenged a state judge's ruling that his son's estate is to only be run by attorney John Branca and music exec John McClain.

Jackson's lawyer Brain Oxman has said: "I think it's an important issue for all fathers around the country and around the world that when their child dies they should have a say-so in their child's estate."

It seems that McClain and Branca are "not well taken" with Jackson's appeal and their attorney Howard Weitzman has stated this clearly
