It has been reported that Cheryl Cole has given her rumoured boyfriend, Derek Hough, the boot to focus on her career.

According to MTV News, Strictly Come Dancing judge and pal, Bruno Tonioli, who introduced Cheryl to Derek revealed:

“Cheryl has said she needs space and he respects that, so when Cheryl gets back to England, their thing will be over.

“Derek knows when Cheryl gets back into The X Factor, things will change.”

Cheryl who opened up about her relationship with Ashley Cole in a interview yesterday, has been inseparable from Derek since her marriage breakdown.
