Dr Dre's daughter Manaj has ruffled a few feathers with a new documentary about her attempts to break into the music industry.
In 'Daddy's Shadow' 23 year old Manaj claims that her father has offered no help to her career and says that he has in fact objected to it.
He says during the film: “You don’t want me to rap. But you’re out here helping everyone else.”
The movie also goes behind the scenes of family life in the Dre household and has caused a rift between Manaj and her father.
The film was originally due for release in 2006 but was delayed when Dre stopped talking to Manaj over the content.
It is being released and distributed by Manaj's own label TM Media Group.
