Hip hop super producer Dr. Dre. will be launching a new brand of cognac as part of a joint venture with Interscope/Geffen/A&M Records and it will be called 'Aftermath Cognac'.

The drink will be hitting stores later this month and will be part of Abecassis Cognac which will also be helping to introduce a new 80-proof sparkling vodka which will be flavoured and unflavoured.

This will be Dr. Dre's first alcoholic drink although his long-awaited album is entitled 'Detox' - anyone else picking up on the irony?

According to hiphopwired.com, the Aftermath Cognac and the vodka were meant to be coincide with his new album's release but no official date has been announced.

So, I guess the show must go on... Who's excited to be sipping on Dr. Dre's juice?
