Lionel Richie will not be performing at his daughter's wedding if Nicole has anything to do with it, according to reports.

The 29-year-old adopted daughter of the 'Hello' singer is thought to be marrying her long-term partner and father to her children Joel Madden in December.

While the Good Charlotte singer told E! News that he would "love Lionel to play a song" at their upcoming wedding, it seems his fiancee has other ideas.

During a recent booking signing for her new book 'Priceless', Nicole said: "I'm not down (with that)!"
