Rihanna has ended Katy Perry's reign at the top of the U.S. pop charts by scoring her fourth number one single.

The R&B star's Disturbia replaces Perry's I Kissed A Girl, which has spent seven weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100.

Rihanna's latest chart feat puts her in the company of Mariah Carey and Beyonce as the only three females who can boast four number ones this century.

Her boyfriend Chris Brown's Forever holds firm at two on the new countdown, while I Kissed a Girl slips to three.

Rihanna's Take a Bow sticks at four while the retired M.I.A. scores her highest chart place with Paper Planes, which jumps up from 16 to five.

 The Jonas Brothers claim yet another highest debut slot by crashing into the chart at 11 with the title track of their new album A Little Bit Longer.

The album, which was released on Tuesday, is on track to debut at the top of the U.S. album chart next week.
