Halle Berry rocked up to the 14th Annual Hollywood Awards Gala last night without her new accessory, boyfriend Olivier Martinez.

The Oscar-winning actress is tipped to be in the running for another Oscar-nomination at least as her new film 'Frankie & Alice' has brought its release date forward to make it an Award contender.

The 44-year-old won the prestigious Academy Award in 2001 for her role in Monsters Ball but this psychological drama, which was also produced by the actress, tells a true story of a woman suffering from a multiple personality disorder.

Berry has recently said of the film: "Bringing this story to the big screen has been a challenging, yet very satisfying, filmmaking experience.

"Her struggles with mental illness came at a time when the medical community and the public were still grappling with the veracity of multiple personality disorder, and I approached this role with feelings of humility, yet great responsibility."

The actress is obviously taking advantage of the current media interest surrounding her new beau Olivier Martinez - who she was pictured with earlier this week....
