Singer/songwriter and Beyonce's lil' sis Solange Knowles is finally enjoying success at the top of the charts with her new single 'I Decided'.

Knowles's second bite of the singing cherry after her initial flop a couple of years ago comes on the back of a successful 'Art of Love' live tour.

The single, the first from her new album 'SoL-Angel & the Hadley Street Dreams' is top of the Billboard “Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles Sales” chart and the “Hot Dance Singles Sales” chart.

The new album has been described by Solange as “a melting pot of ’60’s and ’70’s soul, with bits of electronica,” will be released by Geffen Records on August 26th. Appearing alongside Solange will be performances by Q-Tip and Cee-Lo who co-wrote the next single 'Sand Castle Disco'.
