Janelle Monae is hardly admired for her sense of style as she holds on to her white and black tuxedo-style ensemble, but that doesn't mean that the eccentric beauty doesn't appreciate fashion.

The 'Cold War' singer performed yesterday at the Etam fashion show rocking her signature style.

Monae was musically inspired by the fashion shows, and was seen at the Pavillon cambon for the Chanel haute couture fashion show.

Tweeting about the event, the singer wrote: "Today I see my first show in Paris! Chanel!! I have always admireed Mademoiselle Chanel's & Monsieur Karl Lagerfeld's style. Timeless."

She also added: “Very inspiring day today. All thanks to my dear friend Karl Lagerfeld. Time to write some music now! Wow.”
