Comedian Chris Rock has admitted that if it wasn't for Courtney Love, he would have been beaten up by Jude Law!
The 'Never Scared' comedian had poked fun at Law's acting ability during the 2005 Oscars and left the 'Sherlock Holmes' star fuming after claiming he was in "every movie" going at the time.
In an interview with Esquire, Rock reveals he feared an altercation would ensue after meeting the actor at a later event, but how the situation was diffused by rock chick Courtney Love.
The 'Death At A Funeral' star said: "I was sitting with Courtney Love, and she might've saved me from a fight. I'm not going to say a**-whipping... But you never know - he's hanging out with Guy Ritchie.
"Those guys go at it. Those motherf**kers are in shape. So Jude Law might whip my a**, I don't know. Those guys bring out mats and sh*t... Nothing (happened). Courtney kind of barked, or was growling, and that was it."
