Nicole Scherzinger may have a boyfriend who has a need for speed, but the singer has revealed that Lewis Hamilton is a safe driver when he's on the roads rather than the track.

The 'Poison' singer, who is gearing up for the release of her new single 'Don't Hold Your Breath', was on Loose Women and told the panel that she has a different approach to driving.

The 32-year-old said: "I didn't know you have to have two hands on the wheel all the time. Who does that? Who drives with two hands on the wheel all the time? And then sometimes I'll let my hand swoop across the wheel [when I turn] depending how I'm feeling.

"But he says you have to have two hands on the wheel and do a full turn. Yeah, he's really square. He's safe."
