JLS were left shamefaced after being beaten in a football match by none other than former Take That rebel Robbie Williams.

The 'Angels' star challenged them and a friend to a five-a-side match and even taunted them by celebrating with their dance moves, reports The Sun.

This is not the first time that Robbie Williams has had one up over the 'Eyes Wide Shut' singers, as William's band Take That beat their boyband rivals in the UK charts last year with their comeback single 'The Flood'.

A source told the newspaper that the 'One Shot' singers played six games against Williams and his friends but lost 4-2 to the 'Rock DJ' performer.

The soruce said: "Robbie has been playing for years and practises all the time - and it showed. The boys put in a few good tackles and didn't stop running but Rob walked the ball round them.

"You know what he's like, a huge mickey-taker. But it went down well when he copied their dance routines."
