It is well known that rap mogul P Diddy only wants the best and makes an effort to travel in style be it a private jet or his infamous yachts. When the 41 year-old threw an after-party at New Jersey's Club 4 Sixty 6, he arrived in a police escort to help him get through the traffic quicker.
P Diddy initially requested a private helicopter to take him over the Hudson River to the club, however the use of the club's helipad had not been cleared in time by the Federal Aviation Administration, according to reports.
Diddy's car was escorted by three other police cars in addition to further reinforcements waiting at the club. It is no surprise that P Diddy and his crew wanted to arrive on time at the venue - the rapper was being paid a hefty $75,000 to host the after-party.
A sourcetold the New York Post: "Diddy heard his helicopter had not been cleared for landing, and said he wouldn't go to Jersey if he couldn't get there on time. His team spoke to the police, and he was driven - like a head of state - in his Bentley with three SUVs in a convoy, with two police cars in front, lights flashing, and another behind."
It wasn't for nothing though, as Diddy managed to arrive in a speedy 15 minutes, before performing a 30 minute set and partying until 1:45am.
P Diddy had performed earlier that night at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom alongside Dawn and Kalenna - the other two members of hip-hop collective Diddy Dirty Money.
Do you think Diddy was right to use police reinforcements?
