Nelly has denied claims that he has used steroids to achieve his physique and has slammed comments made by his supposed former manager that he has spent his money on drugs and gambling.

The 'Just A Dream' rapper, who recently won a Billboard award for his comeback hit single, was forced to defend himself after Slim, his supposed ex-managed, suggested that Nelly had a gambling addiction and was being forced to sell his house.

Slim's tweeted read: "You broke you spent your whole fortune on coke, steroids, Ashanti, pulls and at Harrah's Casino, you probably there now! (sic)" But Nelly insisted that Slim was a promotor that he had worked with in the past, but that he doesn't take drugs.

Keen to ease his fans and stop anymore rumours, Nelly tweeted: "First if you believe Slim was my manager then this is pointless anyway. Second, don't nothing go in this body but fish, chicken, turkey, protein, Rozay, Ciroc Remy, and Budweiser!

"Third, I know some hoping that foreclosure statement is true but I'm sorry, 'epic fail'."
