Dizzee Rascal has revealed that he would like to perform at the 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.
The 'Bonkers' rapper was born and bred in Bow, which is near the new sporting site in Stratford, East London, so performing there would be close to his heart.
Speaking about performing to Daybreak presenters Christine Bleakley and Dan Lobb this morning, Dizzee said: "I'd love to man, I grew up around there. So as far as athletics and that - the only stadium I kind of saw for that was Mile End Stadium."
"And I've been to this one - so to perform in there, I know how big it is, I know what I'm dealing with, so I'd love to do it."
Dizzee appeared on the breakfast TV show to give his support to Coca Cola's Future Flames campaign, which aims to find inspirational young people and give them a chance to take part in the prestigious 2012 torch relay.
Dizzee praised the event and said: "It's one of those once in an lifetime things - it's like going to the moon, few people get to do it."
This is not the first sporting event Dizzee has been part of. He featured on last year's official World Cup single alongside James Corden.
