Chris Rock has been made to take back his support of Tracy Morgan following outcry over his supposed homophobic slurs last week.
Tracy sparked outrage when he made off-beat jokes about gay people during a show last week in Tennessee. Chris defended the '30 Rock' star on his Twitter account, saying: "I don't know about you, but I don't want to live in a world where Tracy Morgan can't say foul, inappropriate s**t."
However, he has now had a change of heart and has released a statement in which he claims he didn't know exactly what Morgan had said.
"Tracy Morgan is a tad off. We all know that so when Tracy says something I don't usually take it anymore serious than I would a statement from Gary Busey or Flavor Flav."
He continued: "When I first heard the statement I thought it was offensive but it also reminded me of my father saying I'll kill you if you ever bring home a white girl."
"But after reading everything tracy said, wow I get it that s**t wasn't called for and I don't support it at all."
