Just because she's a mother now doesn't make Alicia Keys any less fierce, the charity ambassador was left furious after British singer George Michael pulled out of a performance for her Keep A Child Alive event in London last night.
The 'No One' singer tweeted about the success of the black ball event but was keen to point out that she was let down by a certain 'Faith' singer.
Keys took to Twitter to update her fans by writing: “#Blackball Uk was a TREMENDOUS Success!!!!” The Grammy award winner also added: “but one question…..what kind of person bails on 15million orphans…..#GEORGEMICHEAL???? ;-(.”
George Michael, who is plotting a musical comeback, had previously tweeted that he was going to be a no-show because of a toothache.
He wrote: “Hi boyz n girls….bad news im afraid. This tooth ain’t getting better in time for tonight, not enough to sing anyway. I’m really sorry folks."
Possibly adding salt into a wound, the singer also added: "You watch, it’ll be totally fine by tomorrow. Bloody typical. I hope not too many of my lovelies managed to grab a ticket. Of course I’d recommend going anyway, Alicia is great live, and @KeepaChildAlive is great charity to donate to.”
