'X Factor USA' judge L.A. Reid stunned everyone when he left Island Def Jam Records earlier this year as he revealed he was taking up a role on Simon Cowell's new show, but he will be returning to music in July.
Antonio 'L.A.' Reid has reportedly signed a deal to be the chairman of Epic Label Group, which will see Epic and Jive Records combine and take on some of his old talent including Usher and Pink.
The 55-year-old will be championing Sony Music's new label and will reportedly be looking ant more urban artists, moving away from the pop scene.
Karmin, a YouTube sensation, has reportedly been Reid's first signing after the duo's impressive renditions of Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' and Chris Brown's 'Look At Me Now'.
