Beyonce has revealed that she would like to follow in Jay-Z's footsteps and perform at the Glastonbury music festival.

Hova caused controversy in the UK when he was announced as headliner for the 2008 event but Knowles says she wouldn't mind doing it herself.

She told Sky News: "I thought it was brilliant. Jay had all the controversy - but he came out and he did good.

"I was there to experience the energy, it was like something I have never experienced before."

When asked if she would like to take to the stage next year, she said: "It would be really amazing... I would love to do it."
