Leonardo DiCaprio is being lined up to star opposite Beyonce in Clint Eastwood's musical movie remake of 'A Star Is Born'.
Eastwood is hopeful that the 'Shutter Island' actor will come on board for the film, which is being produced by Billy Gerber, Basil Iwanyk and Jon Peters, who were behind the original starring Barbara Streisand.
Beyonce has already signed up for the Warner Bros project and there was rumours that Will Smith could have been joining the 'Single Ladies' singer, but Eastwood has his heart set on casting DiCaprio as Beyonce's leading man.
Beyonce recently admitted that starring in the movie was a "dream come true". In her interview with Billboard magazine, the 29-year-old said: "I'm so - I don't even know the words to describe it. I'm still in shock that it's really going to happen. It's a dream come true."
