Michael Bay has revealed that he wants to reunite Will Smith and Martin Lawrence for a 'Bad Boys 3' and is hopeful about working with the cast again.
'Bad Boys' and 'Bad Boys II' both starred 'Men In Black' star Will Smith and 'Big Momma's House' actor Martin Lawrence as hip Miami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett.
When discussing the prospects of a third installment in the film series, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon director explained the issue was to get the cast and crew to align their schedules for the film's production.
He told the MTV Movies Blog: "We talk about Bad Boys 3, it's hard to get our schedules together but it's great working with those guys."
Bad Boys' producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Lawrence have also confirmed plans of a third installment in the action-comedy series.
In May 2010, Jerry Bruckheimer confirmed that Bad Boys 3 was in development, while Lawrence revealed that the script for the movie was being worked on in February this year.
Until then producer Bay will be working on his next project Pain & Gain, a low budget film focusing on the Florida criminal underworld, after announcing that Transformers: Dark of the Moon was the last installment in the film franchise.
