Reverend Run has teamed up with a charity that sends shoes to refugees in war torn Sudan.

The Run DMC star recently hosted a fundraising event in New York, where guests were encouraged to bring shoes that good cause Soles4Souls could send to the country's devastated Darfur region - where millions of people have been displaced by war and genocide.

And he is getting the bosses at his own shoe firm RunAthletic involved, by launching a shoe design contest, to raise money for the cause.

That's a cause we should all support!
