Mariah Carey has continually denied she is expecting a baby with husband Nick Cannon even after
the singer 38, sparked more speculation when she refused a glass of champagne on a U.S. Chat show.

Talk show host Ellen Degeneres pressured Carey to reveal the truth by tempting her with a glass of champagne.

Ellen asked Mariah if she was pregnant and when the singer refused to give an answer Ellen proposed a champagne toast.

I can’t believe you did this to me, Ellen,” Mariah said to DeGeneres.

“What? Let’s toast to you not being pregnant,” DeGeneres said.

When the pop star refused to drink the bubbly, Ellen took that to mean she was pregnant despite Mariah saying to Degeneres “I  only drink after 3pm.”
