Estelle is looking forward to the release of her third album 'All of Me' and the singer has revealed that she was able to hook up with rapper Common and Janelle Monae.
The British singer revealed that one her tracks 'Victorious' features Common and is one of her favourite songs on the album.
Talking about the No I.D.-produced track, she said: “That song makes you feel like you can fly off a balcony. This song is about saying we made our own way and we’re victorious. This is what we do.”
Estelle admitted that she turned to Ne-Yo to help her write 'Do My Thing' but was concerned about sounding "too agressive", so the singer helped her with the melody straightaway.
In the interview with Rap-Up TV, the 'American Boy' singer said: “I was trying to write the song and it was just coming out too aggressive. I didn’t want people to leave with a bad taste. I asked Ne-Yo to write the song and he came back in an hour as he does.”
Talking about her collaborator, Estelle also added: “As another black girl she is so singular. She’s genuinely nice and I understood where she was coming from with her style and her energy, and I feel that she got me too.”
