In 2006 MediaTakeOut.com accused popstar Beyonce Knowles of lying about her age and claimed to have a copy of her official birth records to prove it. The document showed that a Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born to a Mathew Knowles and Celestine Ann Beyonce on September 4th, 1974.
The Knowles’s strongly denied these reports but two years later Mediatakeout.com are still maintaining their story and claim to have more evidence…
"While Beyonce and her camp have been steadfast in claiming that the bootylicious diva is 27 years old, MediaTakeOut.com has been hearing whispers from insiders speculating that Beyonce Knowles was at least 5 years older than that.
Well now actress Gabrielle Union is throwing fuel on the fire. In an interview with the blog The Boots Girls, Gabby claimed to have been a teenager at the same time as Beyonce.
The trouble is that Gabrielle is 36 years old!!! Here’s what was said:
Boots Girls: One of your co-stars [in the movie Cadillac Records] is Beyonce. How was it working with her?
Gabrielle Union: Beyonce and I have been friends since we were teenagers. We go to the same hairstylist now and you know how those bonds are! B (Beyonce) is such a polite, nurturing person and a joy to work with. It’s easy to work with her because she is a good friend of mine.
Let’s do a little math. Gabrielle Union was born in 1972 – so her teenage years were officially from 1985 to 1991.
But with Beyonce claiming to have been born in 1981 – that would have made her only 10 years old when Gabrielle Union was 19."
im not being funny beyonce doesnt even look like older then 27 and she doesnt seem to to be in a rush to have kids cos im sure if she was 37 she would have kids by now cos she said she wants 2-3 kids its just rumours and im sure when gabrille said she knew her as a teenager she ment that both their famillys use to speak to each oda just cos they knew each other when they were young it doesnt mean that they are the same age

its ridiculous to suggest that beyoncé is older than she is. if this were the case, there would be a whole lot more evidence than one lousy document.
school, medical records, birth records, friends, people in community, people who signed her at particular ages, her friends from school, people from her year..
its rubbish.
just because she is not in a rush to have kids doesn't mean beyonce is 27. a lot of people don't have children young like Jennifer Aniston and she's 40.
beyonce is lying about her age. she looks like someone in her mid thirties or slightly older. I was shocked when I read her age, because she looked so much older.
At the end of the day whether she's 27 or 36 is neither here nor there, she's an extremely talented, however sometimes annoying performer. She's not exactly known for divulging information about her private life so I wouldn't be surprised if she was 36 but honestly, who cares? It's not affected her status or career so she can be whatever age she wants to be!

Why on earth would a 19 yr old and a 10 yr old hang out together? And when you look closely, she does look older than 27, plus she acts way more mature than her alleged age.
beyonce does look older than 27; early to mid 30's. this could also be due to her life style (touring, late nights, traveling), all that takes a toll on the body. then again, with all the money in the world, she could pay some of that mula to get work done so maybe she wouldn't look older than 27. even if she was in her 30's, she seems healthy and it's not unheard of for older women to have children. doesn't matter though, she's still very tanlented and she's eye candy for many.
really I believe that beyonce' is lying about her age. Maybe or not. Anyway she does look older than 27. Remeber though* a woman never reveals her real age.
Beyonce attended Lamar highschool and did not finish. A mutual friend was her classmate and he is 36. Lamar Consildated is a performing arts school. Her agents wanted to market her young. Why would teenage children have followed a grown woman. She never would have made that market if she told the truth about her age.

WOW, Good find. Celebrities lie so often about so much stuff. Their ages being the lesser of the evils. It’s good to see one being called out on their crap for once! Wow you think if she was going to lie she would have only shaved a few years off. Looks like somebody got greedy. LOL!
I remember seing Destiny’s Child, when they first made it big at the “Electric Factory”, which is a concert venue in downtown Philadelphia. I was with the Ruffhouse/Columbia Records staff. They were performing “No No No” with Wyclef who was signed to Ruffhouse/Columbia at the time. They (Destiny’s Child) were all dressed very sexy, and when I had swooped in to get a closer look I had noticed that they were all “babies”, and the Ruffhouse Rep said, “dude, they’re like 16!” I was like damn! I’m in my mid thirties now. B is not my age, what I saw then was a little girl. Sorry
