Timbaland reached out to Demi Lovato in January this year through a YouTube message and now the pair have finally hit the studio together to work on new music.
The singer met up with the rapper-producer in Miami on Monday (July 25) as she tweeted: “…Going into the studio with @Timbaland.. You guys ready?!”
Timbaland revealed that he had penned a song for Lovato in his video message in January, and it hasn't been confirmed if this will be the track that they are working with.
During the video message, Timbo also said: "You are amazing, girl. I'm like... not an easy person to please, and I'm very impressed."
Timbo also tweeted about their time in the studio, as he wrote: “4 this demi and timbo duet yall really need 2 thank my brother @darealsebastian and @byrd757 4 makin this happen. now lets make history".
Demi Lovato is due to drop her new album on September 20.
