R. Kelly not only had to undergo emergency throat surgery last week, but he is facing a possible home foreclosure on his house in Chicago and it has been claimed that the singer owes nearly $1 million in unpaid taxes.

The 'Vibe' singer owes a reported $837,000 in unpaid federal taxes and the IRS have filed a tax lien against the 'Love Letter' hitmaker.

According to The Detroit News, the IRS filed the documents against the 44-year-old in January 2010, with the Cook County Recorder of Deeds.

R. Kelly also had a tax lien filed against him last month for a reported $1,036, 858.

Well, the Grammy-award winner has to get better soon so that he can get this paid!
