Nas held a fan Q&A session on Twitter yesterday and he revealed that he did not have a romance with the late Amy Winehouse, the pair were planning to host a joint birthday party.

The two stars, who were last spotted together last year, were good friends and shared the same birthday on September 14.

When a fan asked if he and Winehouse had a "love affair", Nas responded: "Amy was my sister. Genuine person who spoke her mind & didn't give a F*ck!"

He also added: "We shared the same bday! We was planning a party this Sept 14th! I gotta celebrate for her!"

Amy Winehouse was found dead in her Camden home on July 23. She was 27.
