Tyra Banks gave her opinion to Kim Kardashian on the design of her Vera Wang wedding dress and advised her to try a different cut.

The 'Amercan's Next Top Model' host was asked by the reality star for advice to help decide between a couple of wedding gowns, ahead of her upcoming nuptials to Kris Humphries.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Tyra revealed what she told the 30-year-old bride-to-be.

"I gave [Kim] the advice of going with a silhouette that the world isn't used to seeing her in. So we'll see," Banks said. "What she showed me was so beautiful. It's interesting because they were pictures from a fitting, but it actually looked like the wedding, like her hair was done. So it was like a real almost dress rehearsal and she looked absolutely beautiful."

While Kardashian turned to Tyra for advice, it might be that her invite to the weekend's wedding was lost in the post as the former supermodel told OK! magazine: "Oh, I don't know if I'm invited! I'm just gonna help pick out the dress."
