After his return to the music scene with his critically acclaimed 'Recovery' album, Eminem has been named as the most successful rapper.
The 'Love The Way You Lie' rapper may not have made Forbes' Hip-Hop 'Cash Kings' list, but Eminem did top the list for Rolling Stone magazine.
The magazine determing the King of hip-hop by looking at data from 2009 to July 2011, and they were able to rank rappers according to if they released an album, how well their LPs perfomed in sales and on the charts, its popularity in social media, tours, awards and critics' ratings, according to Ace Showbiz.
Despite crowing a 'king' of hip-hop, Nicki Minaj was also considered in the rankings. Eminem topped the list and was followed by Young Money stars Lil Wayne and Drake before Kanye West and Jay-Z.
