Lisa Raye has been sunning herself on holiday in Italy but the actress took some time out to respond to rumours that she had got Stacey Dash fired from their show 'Single Ladies'.

Rumours began on the gossip site MediaTakeOut.com, but Raye wanted to set everyone straight before she was linked any further. The actress also stated that she didn't know if Dash had been sacked and that there wasn't any "beef" between them.

On her facebook page, Lisa Raye wrote: "As everyone know I am in Italy vacationing. I was just made aware of the lies that are being spread by Mediatakeout and other blogs that like to create false stories. I was not even made aware that Stacey Dash had been fired from Single Ladies. Furthermoew if she has been fired that is a network decision. I don't have the power to get her fired nor do I have any beef with her."

One of the show's main writers, Stacy A. Littlejohn also wrote about the situation. She said: "LisaRaye is a very strong woman and we love her, but she does not have that kind of power, nor at any time did she seek to influence any casting decisions."
