Solange Knowles was accompanied by her six-year-old son Daniel Julez Smith to an event in New York last night and the little man nearly upstaged his Mama!

The gorgeous little man held Solange's hand as they left the INC International Concepts at Macy’s press preview event at the Openhouse Gallery yesterday. Solange looked hot in her block colours and leopard-print shoes.

In an interview with Fashionista.com, Solange revealed that her favourite brands at the moment are British designer Stella McCartney, J. Crew and Opening Ceremony.

Solange's sister Beyonce recently claimed that her biggest hero was her younger sister as she admired the way she's able to balance a successful career and be a good mother to Julez.
