Eminem and Wiz Khalifa will not be peforming at a festival in Belgium after a stage collapsed, killing five people.
The Pukkelpop Pop festival has now officially been cancelled after the three-day event kicked off yesterday.
According to Reuters a fast-moving storm hit the festival where Eminem, Wiz Khalifa and D-12 were set to perform and it caused trees to be torn up, with the strong winds and rain smashing tents.
The bad weather caused a roof to be ripped off a stage, which smashed screens where approximately 65,000 fans were waiting for sets to start.
Five people have been confirmed as dead with 70 injured.
The festival's website released a statement to say that they have decided to cancel the festival. In a translation from the Belgian site, it reads: “Pukkelpop is in deep mourning. We feel much sympathy to the families and friends of the victims…Therefore, we decided to Pukkelpop 2011 for the rest of the weekend to stop.”
