Joe Jonas has claimed that his upcoming tour with Young Money star Jay Sean will "awesome".

The 'See No More' singer, who is going for a more urban edge after having already worked with Chris Brown on his debut solo single, is hitting the road with Jay Sean ahead of his European tour with Britney Spears later this year.

In an interview with Extra, Jonas revealed that he had met Jay Sean a number of times and thought a tour together would work.

He said: "It's going to be awesome! Jay Sean and I met a few times, so we thought, 'Why not get together and rock a tour?' Fans have been reacting so well, [they're] so excited about the project."

The 22-year-old is also excited to be joining Spears as her support act in Europe, as he said: "I met Britney at the MTV VMAs. She's such a sweet lady. It's a big compliment."
