Beyonce Knowles and her sister Solange have angered fans by cancelling a benefit concert in their home city of Houston.

The superstar siblings were due to perform at the ‘Beyonce and Solange: Hope for the Holidays’ event, which was in aid of the victims of hurricane Ike, on December 9.

In a press release they said: “Beyonce and Solange regret the cancellation of their Houston-area holiday concert and urge their fans to support the efforts of The Gulf Coast Ike Relief Fund and the Survivor Foundation.”

As yet there is no news on whether the benefit will be rescheduled.

Canceling on your home city in its time of need is not cool.
