Despite having to get nine stitches above his left eye after a skateboard accident earlier this week, Weezy hit the stage with a band-aid over his wound.

The 'How To Love' rapper partied on stage in Kansas City with his 'I Am Still Music' tour wearing his plaster proudly.

After learning that Weezy had been rushed to hospital following the accident, fans flooded the Young Money boss with tweets of concern but the rapper insisted that he will have falls if he's going to improve his skills.

He tweeted yesterday: “Thx to u all for the concern but pls know that I will eventually take even harder falls if I wanna get better…and I will."

Later he revealed that he'd even been to another skate park for another session: “Just had an amazing sesh at Sean Malto’s sk8 shop kalled Escapist!! Props to everyone who was there shreddin wit me!!"

Weezy is set to show everyone his Band-Aid when he performs at the VMAs this weekend.
