Simon Cowell has officially dumped Sinitta as his aid for the 'X Factor USA' and chosen Mariah Carey to help him instead.

It was widely rumoured that Mariah Carey was set to play a role on the new show, but it was unclear about what it would be, but now it has been revealed that she has ousted Sinitta.

According to The Sun, a source said: "Mariah is definitely confirmed to be a part of X Factor. She's confirmed to tape something with Simon Cowell at the judges' homes."

Sinitta is joining Louis Walsh in Barcelon for the judges' houses stage for the UK show, and she thought that she might be replaced, but that doesn't make her any less mad.

Just last month Sinitta had this to say: "Bit cross is an understatement to be replaced by the diva that is Mariah Carey. "As a vocal mentor I'd say she is definitely better than I am but she won't be better at mentoring the talent."
