The Sugababes put any rumours that they were splitting up or having to choose another name to bed as they declared that it is "business as usual" as they headed to a show in Manchester yesterday.
After former Sugababes member Mutya Buena won a court battle to use the name, the current girls Heidi, Amelle and Jade, headed to Key 103 Manchester for their radio station tour.
While Buena was crying tears of joy over a win that the band claim that she can have the rights to stationery and gift wrap, a statement on the group's website: "Heidi, Amelle and Jade would like to reassure their fans that it's business as usual for Sugababes.
"Over four months ago it was officially confirmed by the European Trade Marks Department that Sugababes were successful in claiming their ongoing right to use the name 'Sugababes' for all areas of commercial activity that the band requires, namely within the music, sound recording and entertainment industry, as well as being granted extensive rights to produce a wide range of merchandise.
"(Buena's category of ownership) currently holds no commercial interest for the band and, accordingly, the band has no immediate plans to challenge Ms Buena for these rights."
